Daily dose of dope
In recognition of the the announcement that KBO will be broadcast live in the USA, in the search for some live sports
One of the best known Korean rock bands of the late 60s early 70s
Which had taken off after the Beatles
There was a band known as the “Korean Beatles” – called the Key Boys
But guitarist Kim Hong-Tak led a band called He5
Which tended a bit more psych and garage-y
They did live shows in a hip section of Seoul
Their album of Christmas songs was fairly popular (and pretty good)
They added a member (not sure which one) and became He6
This is my favorite from their album titled simply “Vol 1” (there was also a Vol 2)
Almost all the comments are in Korean so I have no idea what they say

They also have a nice version of In A Gadda Da Vida
