Ok, I got a little carried away yesterday (sorry, I just love that record so much)
So today’s a good day for this one, about which I know absolutely nothing
It’s a disco funk holy grail record
Very little written about the singer or producer
It’s from 1981, Baltimore
Pure heat
Charles Williams is the producer, and the label is “Baltimore-Washington International Records”
Who was/is Charles Williams?
What was Baltimore-Washington International Records?
If it’s BMore/DC, why “international”?
Who knows?
Even if you just google “Fronzena” the first 50 hits are all just mentions of this record
One copy was sold on Discogs in 2010 (for like 800 dollars I think)
Other than that, never seen it pop up
Don’t know if the male interlocutor who claims she’s fine but must have a heart of stone is Williams
Or perhaps EBan Kelly, who’s also listed as producer/arranger
“My love is qualified, it’s notarized and bonded/ If you’re not satisfied, your heart will be refunded!”
Voice is booming
Groove is pumping
Bonus DDD points if you can dig up any info on the record or artists
